A ground breaking branding agency with a lot of big ideas needed an identity that would show off its integrated strategic/creative approach. The two founders (nick and paul) created the company based on a napkin sketch of two overlapping circles. They were adamant that their philosophy came across in the final design, at every touch point.
The identity used two overlapping circles, each representing the creative and strategic side of the agency. The shared middle space symbolized the agency’s holistic solutions. The idea was also carried through the office’s architecture, drawing formal inspiration from Richard Serra’s Torqued Ellipses. The creatives sat on one side of the office, the strategists on the other and all the magic happened in the large collaborative central space.
The office was housed in the former Nabisco factory in Chelsea Market. Materials for business cards and other stationery items were inspired by the industrial and raw infrastructure of the space.
